Species Information: When the scent of a meal is detected, the Firightning flicks its tongue to gauge the prey's location often sending sparks and little embers around. Their twin forks of the tongue acting in stereo; it also uses its keen eyesight, intelligence, and sensitivity to earth-borne vibration to track its prey. Firightning are able to detect moving prey almost 330 feet away. When they make their nest the often heat up a clump of rocks and lay on them in the cool night, to stay warm.

Dex Entry: Strikprent evolves at level 34 into Firightning. Despite having the type advantage over the other two starter pokemon in its region, many trainers are too afraid to have this frightening pokemon on their team.
